The world first Jo-ban* hanging structure
The 23 mm thick, 8 kg in weight, Jo-ban chassis is cut out from aluminium block. And major components including pickup are well layed out by the well stabilizing hanging structure. The Jo-ban chassis is firmly earthed on the ground with the cutout 34mm-diameter brass round bar feet and the original foot base.

| * Jo-ban is a specially cut out aluminium block usually used in measuring devices to eliminate vibration on precise positioning stages and/or spidles, or used as a measuring tool. By applying this Jo-ban structure into CD trasport, users will be able to experience the finest audio scene ever. The manual stabilized top loading mechanism
The manual stabilizer holds a CD tightly so that it realizes the resonance-free and vibration-free circumstance. The pickup mechanism is JVC's EXU-901A, that is admired globally by its superior sounds and reliability from worldwide audiophiles, who use the high-end CD players with EXU-901 mechanism. The aluminium diecasting motor in EXU-901A employees 6mm-diameter extra-wide spindle shaft, thus our test result shows the motor is 27 times stronger than ordinal motors in the market when twisted. This is why the motor is able to maintain the CT-1's mechanism in regard to resonance-free and vibration-free.

Shut off various outer sound pressures and lights
It is well-known that when a disk is affected by outer sound pressures to vibrate, the sonic is degraded due to the sensitive responce of the focus servo current in laser pickup. Supported by the 6mm thick aluminium slide door panel, the CT-1 succeed to shut off most of reproduced outer sound pressures and room lights to minimize the harmful unnecessary responces of focus servo current. Inside the CD tray, the lazer stray light measures such as an opitical-absorption anti-reflection treatment are thoroughly implemented in order to maintain the preferable environment for good S/N ratio lazer reception. @
S multi power tranceformer
The main circuits are independently separated from the power transformer
in order to eradicate any mutual interventioin of circuit caused from power
supply. Each of the circuits that low in compatibility has its power transformers
to supply power independently. Moerover, the CT-1 realizes the ideal power
supply by laying out the independently stabilized power souces matching
to each circuit stage. The independently stabilized power supply is layed
out very close to the circuits depending on the circuit stages; therefore,
the product succeeds in obtaining the ideal power supply. Its digital output
circuit, in particular, gains power from the independent rectifier circuit
to get sufficient drive capacity and to prevent any bad influence of loads
on the other circuts.

The glass display window and the solid oak material
The product emplys an 8 mm thick glass display window and a 10 mm thick solid oak materials for the front, rear and side panels. The stately, universal finish, well harmonized with the Jo-ban chassis, never betray your expectation and offers you a joy of living with it for years as your favorite musical devices.

High precision digital signal processor
Newly developed high precision (low phase noise) master clock circuit
The master clock circuit, that is said to be the core part of the digital audio sound quality, generates the high precision master clock with low phase noise, supported by the mechanically and electrically independent structure to prevent any unnecessary influences form the other circuits.
High speed differencial tranmission
The high precision master clock is no use at all if the clock is not able
to maintain the preciseness at the point of reception of the needed circuits.
In practice, wave form distortions are confirmed on the transmission line
with some different levels of voltages and amplifiers on the ground leve.
The CT-1 employs high speed differencial tranmission circuit for the tranmission
lines from the master clock circuit to all other internal transmission
lines such as the transmission lines, the digital data lines, and the genlock
lines. As a result, it has improved the quality of wave forms from digital
signals.
